Who are we: We are Niel and Sheri Nielsen.We have been in the business of selling mylar and mirror sheeting films wholesale to stores for 25 years. We saw a need for the public in making mirrors for dance studios and such, for solar applications, and insulations. We decided to start selling our films directly to the public. We wanted to maintain our small family business status, and are a husband and wife team. We are raising 4 children and sometimes are not able to make it to the phone so do not be discouraged when you try to call. We do check our emails everyday, and find it the easier way to communicate. (We have added the tensioner kit to make the mirrors now. If you want to make a portable mirror you just buy pvc pipe at the hardware store, and make the frame and attach the tensioners as the directions in the link below suggest.) So far dance studio's ect who have wanted a portable mirror where glass is not an option, or cost prohibitive, there only option has been to spend $600.00 for a ready made mirror panel made from a 1 mil reflective product that was pulled tight and mounted on a 4 x 6 foot framework that was flat and a true plane. We feel $600.00 is too much money for anyone. Up until now people have bought our product and had to build their own framework to accomplish a mirror image and figure out by trial and error how to do this and be satisfied with their results. However many folks don't have the time or patience to do all this work, so we are taking it upon ourselves to develop this kit. If making your own mirror the sheeting must be flat, and on a plane, and pulled tight on all 4 corners. We will continue to sell film for those wishing to make their own mirrors as well. We do not recommend gluing the entire surface because if you have 4 corners pulled tight and secure you don't have to worry about the rest. Usually to secure the 4 corners if you are planning on using a staple gun we advise strengthening that area before stapling with duct tape or something similiar to prevent the sheeting from ripping, hence strengthening it and making it easier to remove for future adjustments. Tarp clamps with bungees or springs are good for pulling the corners tight without ripping and keeping tension so that the mirror sheeting is kept taught. Keep in mind that when temperatures drop the film will shrink slightly and when the temp rises to extreme highs it tends to expand slightly.

Tensioners for Making Mirrors
These make it possible to achieve a mirror by pulling the four corners tight. It includes an eyelet screw
that goes into the wall and a clip that bites into the mirror sheeting and an adjuster with a wing nut
to apply tension, you need one on each corner to pull the sheeting tight. Includes: 1 each, eyelet screw, adjuster with wing nut, and clip.
You can put this in a stud in the wall, or for a portable mirror screw it into a pvc piping frame.

The top
applications are:
(the mirror sheeting should not be attached to the window for permanent installation, because the shiney (metallized side) will start to break down after a year or so if you have sweaty windows, you should put it on a roller or leave an air gap) A thick double backed tape works well, attached to the frame of the window , leaving a small air gap between the film and the window, if you don't want to make roller shades. Just put it on the corners, and pull tight to make the film flat. You can see thru the single sided film, and it acts like a one way mirror when you have the sun shining on it from the outside, giving you added privacy.
We also carry clear for storm windows in the winter.
Double sided film cannot be seen through, great for privacy, and total blocking of the sunlight. We also have a one-sided metallized coating designed to allow you to see your view, while blocking sun rays, preventing fading and sun damage to your house, still reducing the temperature in your house in the summer months and insulating against the cold in the winter, saving you money on your energy bills.
Hey! RV/HOME OWNERS/SNOWBIRDS ETC IN AZ, TX, FL, AND ANYWHERE ELSE THAT IT IS SO DARN HOT! Feel the heat on your rv roof now, then I challenge you all to try our product by putting some 1, 2, 5, or 7 mil. over anything that gets hot from the sun, especially your roof. Its like being in the shade, you could just lay some down over your roof, securing it with double back mounting tape, trimming out or around vents, air conditioning units etc. Anything that gets hot by the sun will be cured of that, boom! Or you could build a framework, that can be removed, and attach it to it. Heat from the sun completely bounces off the film before your roof can get hot. The film never gets hot and it is a water vapor barrier, also besides being a radiant heat barrier. Use the 1 mil in your attic, or crawl space, on the floors and rafters, leaving a 1/2 to 1 inch air gap between passes, so it can breath. Maybe an attic fan would be another good idea, in reducing your attic temp. which boils down to your being to darn hot! If you have new construction, put the 1mil behind your drywall everywhere, that is probably one of the best things you can do, for significant savings. It is an absolute must for cabins, and ice fishing huts, anything that needs insulation for hot or cold. /The propane heater heat actually bounces off the walls, and seals out the cold making you warmer. If you think you are hot, what about your mom, dad, grandparents and others you love. Buy them some 3 mil window film, it is one sided metallized, with a smoke tint, that mounts easily with a thick double backed mounting tape, on your window frame, leaving a small air gap between the glass and the film. Or adhere it to an existing roller shade, for the ability to put it up and down on desire. It adds privacy, because the people looking in, see mirror, and you looking out, see a tinted world. Your loved ones will feel loved, as there lives are more comfortable, and you will save money in your heating and cooling needs.

Not the best product for mirror image reflectivity, but great for reflecting sun's damaging rays, therefore keeping your home cooler reducing your air conditioning costs. Clear 2 mil {CLEAR} Very clear, great for storm windows, you can see thru it like glass, not that cloudy stuff you buy at home depot. Or you can also use it over your mirror sheetings to protect them from scratching and dirt. Why buy windows for over $20,000 when your windows will be more efficient with this film over them in the winter. Works best if applied on a framework with an air gap if you are making storm windows. Cleaning the mirror sheeting
It is recommended that cleaning be done with a cloth diaper.
A mil is .001 of an inch, a measurement used to measure your garbage bags.
That is 1000th of an inch.
All thickness's can be cut with scissors or razor knife
Storing Film-- it must be kept away from humidity when on the roll, and should be used as soon as possible after you get it. If exposed to condensation while on the roll it will peel.
All our films are metallized polyester film, as with any metallized film care should be given to never allow it to come in contact with exposed live electrical wires, or sources, it can cause fire, and or electrocution. To avoid suffocation do not allow any small children to play with any plastic that may be able to suffocate a child.
